Florida Community Care is the Managed Care Plan for the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Pilot Program

The Pilot is administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) in partnership with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). This program offers an additional pathway for providing support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Florida Community Care (FCC) was selected to be the sole managed care plan operating the Pilot.

Managed Medical Assistance Services

Examples of covered services in this category include doctor visits, hospital care, prescribed drugs, mental health care, and transportation to these services. *

Long-Term Care Services

Examples of covered services in this category include nursing facility, assisted living, or services provided in the home. *

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services

Examples of covered services in this category include applied behavior analysis therapy, life skills development, personal supports, transportation and residential services such as group homes and supported living.*
